Waushara County: Educational Day Trip 06.01.2022

Waushara County is a wonderful blend of farming and recreation. with more than 100 lakes, 150 miles of trout streams, 7,000 acres of public hunting and fishing and 12 county parks - this is an outdoor world and small communities. In Western Waushara County we had a private tour of the Hancock Agricultural Research Station with Sue Miles, Office Manager. Both inside and outside projects were shown and explained to us.

We had a private tour and classroom presentation of the Wild Rose Fish Hatchery by Joan Voight, Natural Resource Educator. Wild Rose Hatchery plays a major role in Wisconsin's Fish stocking programs.
