Portugal & Spain GoAhead Tour 11.05-15 2017
From November 5th to the 15th 2017 we joined fellow explorers to experience the Age of Discovery from Roman ruins throughout the region,as well as the Moorish influence in this rich and varied Mediterranean culture. For 12 days our itinerary journeyed by high speed trains and bus: Lisbon and Evora, Portugal; followed by Seville, Cordoba, Madrid with a day trip to Toledo and then on to Barcelona for the final two days. From UNESCO World Heritage sites including castles and Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia - still a monumental work in progress, to works by Goya, Velaquez, El Greco and more - come along and take the journey with us accompanied by local & an expert Tour Director on this GoAhead Tour. Photographer's Notes: This is my first international trip (in ten years) without a Canon DSLR camera and a heavy gear bag. Used the Canon EOS 5D and two compact lens (18-150mm; and 11-22mm w macro)
