Exploring NewFoundland, Canada with Anita & Dave September 2018
Between September 6th to the 17th 2018; we explored Western Newfoundland by boat, car, and hiking. Dave & Anita drove to Deer Lake in their fuel efficient Kia Nero (over 60 m.p.g) and Kent & Sarah arrived by Air Canada on Thursday the 6th. Each day on the journey is marked by a collage - Deer Lake, Woody Point, Trout River, Gros Morne National Park (an UNESCO World Heritage Site); Lobster Bay and Port Richie Lighthouses, Port Aux Croix and more. Enjoy the walks, the sunrises and sunsets, the colorful villages of a few hundred (or less), scenic views, foggy and crisp light bays. We were inspired to visit Newfoundland after seeing the Broadway Play -"Come From Away" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Come_from_Away Delightful people and wonderful fresh seafood completed the adventure. Photographer's Notes: All photographs taken with Canon's EOS 5D Mirrorless Camera & lenses - no flash used.
