Chile & Argentina: Santiago to Buenos Aires - Discovering the beauty of Patagonia between two vibrant capitals .

Between February 16th & 27th, 2018 along with 28 others and guides, we explored Chile & Argentina and the Patagonia region. Here are images captured of our shared and individual experiences. Each day as well as some events are marked with a pictorial collage accompanied with itinerary highlights. From Santiago, to Valparaiso -"the Jewel of the Pacific" to experiencing Chilean & Argentinian wines we covered the distances of ancient explorers within days. Transportation by air, bus and ferry allowed us to get up close to Magellanic penguins and to hear and feel the force of the Perito Moreno Glacier - still growing . Come along for a Tango lesson or two and take a stroll through two major Latin America capitals - Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina while eyeing artist rich murals and architectural treasurers. From Valparaiso to Punta Arenas - to an underground cave and sheep-shearing follow our adventure and meet some gracious and kind hosts, informative guides and meet fellow travelers along the journey. Photographer's Notes: Canon EOS M5 mirrorless camera with 18-150mm IS zoom & 11-22 Wide Angle; polarizing filter as needed/no flash photography.
