From Dublin International Airport we took M1 South to M50 (around Dublin), West on N7 & stopped for breakfast in Borris- in- Ossory https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borris-in-Ossory (our half-way point) to our destination of Dingle.
Colorful homes & gardens in the village of Adare.
After leaving Borris in Ossory, we followed Route N7 which becomes M7 and crossed the country to Limerick. After Limerick we took M20 which becomes N21. We stopped in Adare http://www.adarevillage.com/ for a break and for exploring.
Lispole Viaduct, County Kerry, Ireland
Todays viewing of Lispole is that of a stretched village on a winding road. In previous years, the Tralee to Dingle steam train used to stop here. A visual relic from this past is the railway viaduct that spans the Owenalondrig River which was built around 1890. It is also of course a reminder that the once narrow-guage rail line was in its time, an engineering marvel.
