    The Dumpy Jug Bumpers

    The Dumpy Jug Bumpers are an old time string band that calls Minnesota home. Their authentic sound pays homage to 1920s and 30s and country blues and ragtime. The band's current lineup includes Mumblin' Drew Temperante (vocals, mandolin-banjo), Tony Balluff (clarinet), Josh Granowshi (upright bass), and Adam Kiesling (guitar). Their most recent album Dumptown combines original compositions with traditional tunes.

    Dave Landau

    Dave Landau entertains children of all ages at the festival for the 14th consecutive year. Storytelling and performing children's music are two of Dave's passions and talents. A former elementary school teacher, Dave has been performing as a full-time musician for more than a decade. A singer and guitarist with Madison's Cork n'Bottle String Band, his musical programs are educational, entertaining and motivating. During the festival Dave entertains and educates children at the Roots & Reason stage on Fridays and Saturdays.

    Kaia Kater

    Kaia Kater is an accomplished vocalist and banjo player. Her music and lyrics are inspired by her experiences growing up. She as born of African-Caribbean descent in Quebec and absorbed her family's deep connection to Canadian folk music before studying Appalachian music in West Virginia. Recorded in just one day her most recent album, Nine Pin, explores the struggles faced by people of color in North America.
