10th Anniversary: Sugar Maple 2013 Traditional Music Festival
On the weekend of August 2nd & 3rd the 10th Anniversary Sugar Maple Traditional Music Festival was held at the Lake Farm County Park, Madison, Wisconsin. The Festival is produced by the Four Lakes Traditional Music Collective (FLTMC), a nonprofit educational and arts organization founded in Madison, Wisconsin in August 2003. This group of local musicians and music lovers annually present the best blues, bluegrass, Cajun, folk, swing, jazz, polka and Irish musicians from around the country in the charming rural setting of Lake Farm County Park. This year's performers and Roots & Reason Stage contributors included Chas Coberly, Al Scorch & The Country Soul Ensemble, The Steel Wheels, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades (Old Time Dance), Kevin Prater Band, Don Stiernberg Trio, Freakwater, Martha Redbone Roots Proect, The Revelers (Cajun Dance), Dave Landau (Music for Kids), Kiki's House of Righteous Music presents Dietrich Gosser, plus Madison Singer/Songwriters Stage, Rich Baumann, John Duggleby, and Tracy Jane Comer.
