Madison Bach Musicians perform at Prairie Rhapsody - HWM June 28th, 2012

The Madison Bach Musicians filled the Holy Wisdom Monastery with "world - class" Bach performed by Trevor Stephenson, harpsichord; Erin Cooper Gay, Soprano and Anna Steinhoff, viola da gamba. The Prairie Rhapsody at Holy Wisdom Monastery was preceded with a silent auction for select art, the opportunity to enjoy the Sonata photography paired with modified Haikus and perfect food prepared by the staff and volunteers of Holy Wisdom Monastery. Here are some images of the evening - unfortunately without stunning vocals and dazzling harpsichord and viola da gamba included. The double-manual harpsichord in the evening's concert was made in 2010 by Norman Sheppard of Madison. It is modeled on an early 18th-century German instrument by Mietke of Berlin.
