Sidewalk Tractor 5691 with Sam 01.19.2023
On the wintry morning of January 19th around 6:45 a.m I joined Allison Madison & Sam the Sidewalk Tractor guy for an up close look at how and where Madison's bike, walking paths and city maintained sidewalks are kept clear and safe during periods of snow and ice.
The series of the "nameless" Sidewalk Tractor 5691 is to complement the programs of The City of Madison Engineering and Streets Divisions, and Wisconsin Salt Wise to increase awareness in reducing the volume of salt used to maintain safe sidewalks and preserve our fragile ecosystem including lakes,streams and aquatic life.
