Madison Mennonite lends "hands & hearts" to the Four Square
On Saturday, November 14th,2015 a talented and ambitious team of MMC volunteers descended on the Four Square project at 6438 Grandview and proceeded to take on major projects and sub-projects while building a healthy appetite. An early mid-morning break was later complemented by a hearty vegetarian soup, fresh baked bread and delicious foods. After a well-deserved meal and conversation break the well fueled crew proceeded to dig the trenches, remove the scaffolding and move the back temporary porch to the front. On Friday evening & Saturday morning the season's first snowfall fell just in time to slow trench progress and allow Kent & Myron to clear the PVC lines of any water. The day ended with beautiful sunlight and moonlight with IVY dancing in the snow.
