6438 Grandview Road: A home for every season for Myron Gingrich & Lonna Stoltzfus, Jakob, Mariah and Hannah and friendly pup Ivy. The opening scenes are from a blustery cold winter day (December 9th, 2013) in the afternoon. Dan aka "The Chairman" warms up inside with some fresh cinnamon buns and hot coffee, along with Myron & Kent. Jakob and Hannah come home from school and take a few minutes to pose. On December 13th 2013 the second sequence begins with excavating equipment on location digging out the future basement below the supported house. On the winter snowy afternoon of December 16th the concrete footers have been poured while it continues to snow. The following day, December 17th the crew from Hottmann prepares the foundation forms for the concrete walls with the weather warming. On the morning of December 18th a large crew from Hottman Construction pours the foundation walls (Concrete from Lycon, Inc.) The New Year 2014 begins on January 9th, 2014 after three of the coldest days ever (MINUS double digits 15F-20F with windchills of MINUS 30F). Myron and Dan aka "The Chairman" prepared the basement walls for the lowering of the house. On the morning and afternoon of January 14, 2014, Heritage Movers successfully lowers the house onto its new and permanent foundation, and removes supports and gridirons.
