Remembering Mieko Yamashita

Remembering Mieko Yamashita in photographs spanning from 2003 to 2012. Some of Mieko san's many gifts and contributions to the World Friendship Center ( WFC) programs and activities are captured in this short series. Former Directors will remember her as one of the longest serving "anchors" of WFC covering a wide range of challenges and opportunities. Her beauty, genuine smile, compassion, charm, poise, passion for education and learning, artistic expression and contributions, contagious laugh and wit, organizational and ambassador role skills - all of those and more made her a versatile friend and admired by so many. She will truly be missed as well as remembered.
