Allen Haynes & Bill Lambert visit Wisconsin 2015

On the weekend of March 13th, 14th (Pie Day 3.14.15), and 15th Allen Haynes and Bill Lambert headed up to Middleton, WI to deliver a family antique from Anna Ruth's collection. The expanded weekend activities included bike riding, walking, exploring UW Campus, a tour and tasting at Capital Brewery in Middleton, sampling homemade pies on Pie Day (3.14.15) and Sunday morning breakfast at the Eldorado Grill, Madison. We agreed that we all had good taste and enjoyed each other's company including several rounds of Yahtzee and Capital Brewery's finest.

  • We celebrated Pie Day (3.14.15) in style with two kinds of homemade pie. The line was too long at Hubbard Diner (a pie lover's paradise complete with now famous Pie T-shirts) so we explored the Mustard Museum and Capital Brewery instead, and had our pie at home.
