A Holiday Album: Family & Friends Reunions

In this ever-changing world our family gatherings and reunions are redefined by the unplanned and spontaneous including the funeral and memorial for Anna Ruth (Neff) Haynes. In the holiday period between a few days before Christmas and New Year's Day; we share family portraits and snapshots as one of a kind gatherings and intentional new traditions blend together on the journey. Here's some introductions of the extended family that met during the last week of December and New Year's Day, accompanied by friends and neighbors that gathered to support our combined families.   • On New Year's Eve, the Sweitzer-Beckman's "camped out" on the floor by the fireplace - a throw back to Erica and Laura's growing up years when the tradition marked Christmas Eve.
  • On New Year's Day Chef Mike whipped up a wonderful egg Benedict Champagne breakfast.
  • High tech New Year's resolutions go into motion immediately - getting personal finances on line with mint.com organizational tool. Tracks and assists with every check, credit and debit card, investment and portfolio assets. Might as well get the New Year in tip top shape right out of the gate.
  • On New Year's Day evening we have dinner with Bob and Cathy Beckman at their place.
