Join the Jose Gomez & Rafaela Castellanos family & their children Angelica, Marisela, Jesus and Jose Esteban as they experience the joy of their Habitat for Humanity House Blessing Celebration. Meet some of the Habitat Staff, volunteers, community sponsors and neighbors as the House Blessing Celebration continues on into the evening. Welcome all of the Gomez Family, 505 Moose Trail, Madison on a beautiful winter evening, Wednesday, December 12th, 2012, to their new extended community and their lovely home.

My family and I are very happy for this dream that now is a reality.  Thanks to volunteers and all the people who have supported us.  God bless them anywhere they are."   • Rafaela & Jose share their words:  "First, we would like to give thanks to God for letting us find the Habitat for Humanity of Dane County program.  At the same time, we would like to thank all the members of the program for all of the support they give to low income families and also thanks to all of the volunteers that provide help.  Without them our dream of becoming a homeowner would not be possible."

  • Talking it over before the Habitat House Blessing begins.  Recently, Valerie Johnson (R) broke her foot and is now wearing a boot cast.
  • At the corner of the entrance to the neighborhood there is a Habitat sign for Northport Commons explaining that five lots are for sale - three two story homes will be build on this site which is about two blocks from the Moose Trail homes - the vision for this neighborhood started years ago.
