Classic Custom Homes Frame Up for Habitat 10.12.2017

On the cloudy and drizzling afternoon of October 12th, 2017 between 12:30 p.m - 3 p.m more than 50 volunteers from Classic Custom Homes in Wanuakee and their partners ( RHD Plumbing, Inc., Nonn's, ABC Supply, Settlers bank, Builders Showcase Madison & Pepsi in the 608) rolled up their sleeves and Framed Up a Habitat for Humanity Home. Starting at 12:30 p.m the parking lot at Custom Classic Homes, 401 N.Century Avenue, Waunakee, was transformed into a Habitat for Humanity of Dane County construction site. Watch as volunteers build all of the interior and exterior walls for the home, which will eventually be located on Sweet Grass Drive in Sun Prairie. The future homeowners, Cheng and Sierra,worked along side volunteers with construction and heavy lifting. All of the work shown took place in less than two hours, with some time for breaks, conversation, Pizza Hut pizza and refreshments provided courtesy Pepsi.
