MUNICIPAL Art Exhibition Set Up 12.08.2016
At the invitation of Trent Miller I visited the former Madison Municipal Building, 215 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., during the late morning & early afternoon of Thursday, December 8th, 2016. Set up is underway for the ONE DAY POP-UP ART EVENT (Saturday, December 10th, 2016 10 A.M - 6 P.M )- 100 Artists in 1 empty City Building featuring Live Music & Local Food & three stories and a basement briming with creative energy.
MUNICIPAL will celebrate the building’s history and highlight the many artists working in the city of Madison and the surrounding areas. Over 100 local artists are participating in this one-of-a-kind event featuring visual art, performances, hands-on activities and live music. Visitors can expect to experience the historic space in a new and innovative way.
MUNICIPAL is an event presented by The Bubbler at Madison Public Library
in collaboration with Arts + Literature Laboratory, The Apartment Project, and Madison Community Discourse with support from Madison Arts Commission, Wisconsin Public Radio, and Artist and Craftsman Supply.
