Beverly Gordon Collection

On the cloudy late morning and early afternoon of August 30, 2014 some select pieces from the Beverly Gordon Collection were photographed in her third floor studio in Madison, Wisconsin. On the second shoot of November 4th, 2014 more difficult to photograph pieces were placed on a variety of backgrounds. The beginning of this series is marked with a collage and November 4th, 2014 date. On November 18th the series was photographed exclusively with light boxes as the illumination sources. Photographer Notes: Tripod mounted Canon 7D with Canon 24mm-70mm f 2.8 and on select photos Canon f 2.8 100 mm macro lens. Natural light with Canon Speedlite 580 EX bounced fill light on select photographs. For the second shoot of November 4, 2014, used a Canon 5D Mark III with 24mm-70mm f 2.8 mounted on a Manfrotto with ball head tripod. Canon 600 EX with diffuser used in combination with long exposures (15-30 seconds) with daylight diffused by a window curtain. The November 18th and December 2nd series was photographed exclusively with two light boxes as the only illumination - all with tripod mounted time exposures @ f 20.
